Remington Forest

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina Real Estate

Remington Forest is a small community of 62 townhouses off Rifle Range Road in Mount Pleasant. Cassidy Court is the only road in Remington Forest. All Remington Forest townhomes underwent thorough renovations in 2005 and 2006. The list of renovations was so extensive the developers wrote a seven-page list of upgrades and improvements, which included all granite kitchen countertops, General Electric & Bosch stainless steel appliances, new crown molding and ceiling fans in all rooms, new porcelain tubs and tile in all bathrooms, all new doors and oil-rubbed hardware and fixtures, renovated pool, new pool house, new landscaping, and resurfaced sidewalks and roads.

Remington Forest’s location distinguishes it from any other Mount Pleasant townhouse community in the $250,000 to $350,000 price range. To further separate Remington Forest from any of its competition, every townhouse shares only one common wall and every townhouse has its own backyard with a six foot privacy fence.

Residents at Remington Forest can walk or bike to Sullivan’s Island, the Old Village of Mt. Pleasant, Shem Creek, Patriot’s Point, and the new Arthur Ravenel Bridge that connects Mount Pleasant to Downtown Charleston.

Location makes Remington Forest an ideal home for anyone commuting to MUSC, College of Charleston, or other locations in Downtown Charleston, because rush hour traffic on Coleman Boulevard is a fraction of the traffic found on Highway 17 (Johnnie Dodds Boulevard). Remington Forest is also convenient for its residents who work on Daniel Island (at companies such as Blackbaud and Benefit Focus) or North Charleston, because I-526 is less than 1.5 miles from the neighborhood’s entrance.
